Olena is an accomplished professional with a strong background in education and public service. She holds a Specialist degree in Pedagogy and Psychology from a university in Ukraine. Her career began in education, where she taught at a private school before advancing to the position of Head of the Department of Education and Culture.
After relocating to Canada, Olena spent 1.5 years as a Settlement Worker, supporting newcomers with housing, employment, education, and access to social services. Since April 2024, she has been serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Duque Immigration Services. In this role, she draws on her extensive experience and academic foundation to foster meaningful connections between newcomers and Canadian institutions.
