Canadian Experience Class
How to Apply for the canadian experience class
This application is for skilled workers who already have Canadian work experience and are interested in becoming a permanent resident in Canada
Requirements
To be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class you must:
- meet the required language levels needed for your job for each language ability: writing, reading, listening, speaking
- have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada, in the last 3 years before you apply, and the work experience must be: full-time, or an equal amount in part-time have gained your work experience by working in Canada legally
- Your work experience can be in 1 or more NOC 0, A or B jobs.
- meet the minimum language level of: Canadian Language Benchmark 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs or Canadian Language Benchmark 5 for NOC B jobs
- take approved language tests for: writing, reading, listening, speaking
- describe the test results in your Express Entry profile

Federal Skilled Workers Program
How to apply for the federal skilled worker program
This application is for skilled workers who already have foreign work experience and are interested in becoming a permanent resident in Canada
Requirements
To be eligible for the Federal Skilled Worker Program you must score at least 67 points on the 100-point grid used to access eligibility for the program. The factors that the applications are based on are:
- age
- education
- work experience
- whether you have a valid job offer
- your English and/or French language skills
- adaptability (how well you're likely to settle in Canada)

Federal Skilled Trades Program
How to apply for the federal skilled trades program
This application is for skilled workers who are qualified in a skilled trade and are interested in becoming a permanent resident in Canada
Requirements
To be eligible for the Federal Skilled Trades Program you must:
- meet the required language levels for each language ability writing reading listening speaking
- have at least 2 years of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in a skilled trade within the 5 years before you apply
- meet the job requirements for that skilled trade as set out in the National Occupational Classification, except for needing a certificate of qualification
- have a valid job offer of full-time employment for a total period of at least 1 year or certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal authority

Provincial Nominee Program
How to apply for the provincial nominee program
The first step in submitting a successful Provincial Nominee Application is to get nominated by a province or territory in Canada. Every province and territory offer different “streams” which contain requirements that target certain groups.
Once you’ve been offered a nomination by a province or territory, you may then apply to become a permanent resident in Canada through a paper-based or online process (i.e. Express Entry).
